This is not a conversation about art or architecture, but about collaboration as a creative tool. Big ideas are rarely generated in isolation. From architecture to art, the most compelling projects emerge when different perspectives, experiences, and authors come together. What does the process of co-creation look like? Saša Begović and Marina Mesar OKO will discuss collaboration as a driver of creative practice.
Through 3LHD, Saša Begović has developed a practice based on multidisciplinary work – connecting architecture, urbanism, design, investors, the public sector, culture, and community. He approaches architecture as the result of a dialogue between different disciplines, interests, and forms of knowledge, with collaboration being one of the core foundations of the 3LHD studio’s work.
On the other hand, Marina Mesar OKO has built her career at the intersection of the gallery system, street art, illustration, design, brand collaborations, and international projects. Collaboration with various communities, institutions, and partners is an essential part of her artistic development and long-term relevance.
At a time when the most interesting ideas emerge at the intersection of different disciplines, collaboration becomes one of the key tools of creative development. Drawing on their experiences in architecture, art, public space, and work with a range of partners, Saša Begović and Marina Mesar OKO will discuss how successful collaborations are formed, what makes them sustainable, and how different perspectives can lead to outcomes that exceed the possibilities of the individual.
The conversation opens up questions of trust, dialogue, and co-creation of value. The audience will have the opportunity to hear how creative partnerships emerge, how they evolve over time, and why differences are often the greatest strength of any successful project.
