The focus of this conversation is corporate social responsibility as a principle that is increasingly shaping our lives and communities.
Today, sustainability extends far beyond the framework of corporate reporting and has become an important lens through which we understand economic, social, and cultural processes. In this context, key questions arise: How is social responsibility becoming an integral part of every organization’s operations? How are environmental criteria changing our relationship with space, resources, and communities? And how is transparent governance moving beyond the financial sector to become part of broader social and cultural practice?
Through Održiva Ura (Sustainable Hour), we open a space for dialogue about the programs that Erste Bank develops in collaboration with organizations and experts across Europe.
The Leave a Positive Trace program, now entering its fifth year, systematically strengthens the capacities of nonprofit organizations—from developing fundraising strategies and financial planning to building the knowledge and skills required for long-term sustainability and resilience.
MARC is an international platform for Central and Eastern Europe that brings together startups, social enterprises, and organizations with sustainable business models. The program focuses on strengthening financial resilience and increasing positive social and environmental impact, while connecting local initiatives with broader European networks and processes.
Through the Leave a Positive Trace and MARC programs, partnerships have been developed over many years that address the challenges of Goal 17 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda: Partnerships for the Goals. These initiatives foster new forms of collaboration between the financial sector, civil society, and entrepreneurship, where capital becomes a catalyst for social change and where knowledge sharing, mentoring, and networking serve as tools for building more resilient and sustainable organizations and communities.
The participants in this discussion will demonstrate how partnership can become a genuine driver of change.
Drawing on practical examples, we will explore how collaboration across sectors can create opportunities for social innovation, sustainable business models, and initiatives that leave a positive impact on society.
The discussion will feature Helena Matuša (Entrepreneurial Centre of Krapina-Zagorje County), Aida Riđanović (Solidarna – Foundation for Human Rights and Solidarity), Goran Ladišić (Project O2), Lana Ceraj (MUZZA), Helena Babić (AjA Association), Iva Mandušić (El Sistema Croatia), as well as Tina Sirotić and Nataša Barta Paripović (Erste Social Banking).
Join us for a conversation about partnerships that create more resilient organizations, more sustainable communities, and lasting social change.
